I spent 4 days at my family beach house and it was great. We played Scrabble and dice and just hung out. I needed the get away.
Now I'm back in Houston and getting ready to out to Numbers (My favorite club) tonight.I love Friday nights.
My "secret friend" as my friends now refer to the stalker-type person, has been pretty busy. Clever little notes and a few more gifts that only a person who knows me well would know to give me. It's very sweet.
I might be getting a new roomate, "Crazy Debbie". lol She's a trip. So, that should be interesting. Oh! And I am getting a new mini-dachhound puppy next week! Yay! His Mommy died and he still needs to nurse so he should require a lot of extra care. I have a family wedding to go to next week and that should be awsome. I haven't been to a traditional Mexican wedding in about 5 years. It will feel good to get back to my cultural roots, it's easy to forget where you came from when you live so far away from your family and my Tio Florincio's mariachi group is playing. I have lots of fond memories of running around as a little girl dancing to their music.

I like Scrabble too. So much so, that i had to go out and buy the 'Deluxe' edition with the proper wooden rotating board and embossed playing surface. And proper wooden tiles too!
