I think this is something we should all hold true. Yes, you cannot fully experience love without some degree of abandonment and throwing caution to the wind; However, I can easily think of multiple stories within my life where I feel for the tricks that I knew I was walking into.

And no matter how much I think I'm gonna apply the vision from what I learned from the past forward, it seems it is only in hindsight.
