I drew a thing! I don't really like the way graphite photographs, so I will say that it looks quite a bit softer and more realistic in person. To be honest, this was the first time I've picked up a pencil in well over a year, but I knocked this out in about two hours. I guess it's like riding a bike, or whatever.

If you do, try it on tan or colored paper. The paper makes up your mid tones so your darks are darker and your lights are lighter. I'm about to try new colors too. The tan has done me good so far though haha

Granted, I've only been away for four months, but it's just as underwhelming as I've always felt it to be. It's home, it's where my family and oldest friends are, but I can honestly say that I'm glad I left, and I'm most likely not coming back to stay.
