I've been without internet access in my room for a month and a half now. I finally stole my brother's computer and invested in a 25 ft. ethernet cable so's I can chat now.
Hurricane Frances didn't ruin my life like it did others. We didn't lose power, but I didn't have to work, so we played Nintendo throughout the storm. I beat both Castlevania 1 and Super Mario Bros. 3 (and we did it without warping!!).
School is so much better these days. I switched my major to Anthropology and I'm really enjoying my classes. All my professors have travelled the world and share with us their experiences with field work. And most of them studied in Africa where I would like to one day go myself!
I'm broke again, and working my ass off at the lab, but I'm starting to save money again. I just can't help buying stuff.....like down and suede throws and woven rugs and sateen sheets and picture frames....at least the house is nice.
