Tonight Harvey Pekar came to give a talk at UF on behalf of the film club I'm in. He told us about some of the people he worked with...accomplishments and failures...and offered a little advice on how to make it in the business/art world. I was asked to take pictures, so here are a few.
He forgot to turn off his cell phone before he began talking and decided to answer midspeech.
We took him to dinner at the Top because they had good pie and vegetarian food. (Yes, left-handed, vegetarian)
