CHECK IT OUT!

SB Set: Paix: The Pumpkin King

** Why am I advertising this? BECAUSE I PHOTOGRAPHED IT wink Hehehe. It was a lot of work and I think we both did well as first timers! biggrin Please let me know what you think.

Also, I posted some pix from the last race.. I am definitely doing better then before.. I feel more comfortable with the car, I just still have to work on the tighter boxes/turns and get my alignment checked.. Ant is thinking my car is suffering from "toe in" from the factory to make it easier to drive on the street and to help eliminating the car from tracking with the road.. Anyway, enough rambling, check out my "Me 'N My Pony" album for photos...

The padding only goes down so far and the puck smacked my arm right where it ends. I should wear elbow pads but I havn't gotten around to actually putting them on.

Factories usualy set FR vehicles for a slight toe-in so that when the car starts driving the wheels actually straighten out from the pressure of the road as the car is moving that way you have 0 toe as long as you're moving to increase tire life. I'm not sure how it works but some toe-in I think is desirable for road racing although the exact reason why I have no idea. If you're going to adjust your alignment I'd start with Camber. It's easy to do and those models come with an adjustable camber setting right off the showroom floor. Plus you'll get much better results a lot faster.

Sorry, had to put in my bit of car knowledge there.

I always thought that for racing you wanted the toe out. My father was a master mechanic - and raced as an amatuer, until my mom made him quit .......

Here's hoping that your photography career takes off!
