Well, I think I've ALMOST decided that if my mother gets to keep her house after the divorces completes - I'm moving back to the bay area.. Maybe not the Los Angeles area like I originally lived in for three years, but somewhere where the weather is a little more "convertible friendly".. I LIKE to go outside during the summer, but in 108+ daily heat you can't without breaking a sweat while walking out to your car..

My mother raised me alone and she never had a car so I never really missed it. But you're right, when my iPod dies, really bad things could happen in the train.

Unfortunately I can't help you with any suggestions. Maybe I'll be able to do that when I finally get to do the vacation in the USA I've been dreaming about for ages.
