Well, the weekend definitely went by quickly..
Friday night, around 7:30, Anthony (my bf) and I headed to Tahoe.. We finally got to our hotel around 11:30.. We both didn't feel too well and struggled to go to sleep so we woke up the next morning pretty early, 7:30 am.. From there we went to the local Ihop and then hit the 50 & 28 to cruz around the lake.. It was absolutely beautiful! I have never been to Tahoe before, I can't believe how artificial the lake and mountains looked... It was great
After that we headed to Virginia City, Anthony felt that I could appreciate the nostalgic look of the city.. I did. It was cute and thanks to his big mouth - he got us involved in the local "gun show" *LOL* One of the actors ("Stinky" see pic) just would NOT leave me alone! Since he was "in-character" I tried to scurry away from his as nicely as possible *L* Anthony thought it was hilarious
Damn small towns.. heh.
While we were walking along the shops, we were looking at the large amount of choppers parked along side.. I had made a comment about the rear fender cover on one of them and then out of no where a guy sitting outside of a bar said, "I'd take you for a ride on it.... If you weren't with him".. Anthony and I both laughed, I grabbed onto his arm, and said "Thanks, but no thanks." I think I was more in shock about all of it then Anthony He reacted a lot more tame then I thought he would in that situation which is good - I wouldn't want someone that freaks out and makes a scene UNLESS I was touched or something vulgar was said.. Ultimately he handled himself like a confident man
Sunday, everyone raced.. Was I really in the mood? No.. I've had a lot of shit going on at home so my brain was somewhere else.. my times definitely reflected this + my contact lens issue that kept hitting the second I got into the more "sweeping" parts of the course.. Regardless, I knew I could do better, but I didn't.. *shrugs* oh well!
Come this week, I'll be going to school on tuesday and thursday nights... Then this weekend I'll be going to my father's house to pick up the rest of my crap that I left when I moved.. a microwave, 75g fish tank light & lid, and a bunch of small crap.. We're going to remove my passanger seat so I can have enough room for everything Hopefully it'll work!
