The Sci Fi channel had on an all day marathon of Ghost Hunters. For those of you who arent familiar with it, its a reality show where these ghost hunters go and investigate paranormal experiences in homes and old sanitariums etc. I'd never seen it before but I love that kind of crap. It scares the hell out of me. I've always wanted to see it, but it's on late at night & I'm afraid to watch it alone in a new house with woods out back, too Blair Witchesque for me.

I'm pretty sure there was a ghost in my old house. The wife of the man we bought the house from died in the house. It was a peaceful death so I was told. She was entertaing company at the time. They said she was talking & laughing & just died. So luckily for me she was a kind spirit. I think she liked me because as a little girl my parents had rented the upper apartment from her husband after she passed. When he passed we bought the house from his daughter, & now 30 yrs later I was living there with my children. The reason I believe this is because "things" would happen, for instance, I was cleaning my shower & said out loud I should turn the faucet on (to assist the cleaning process), & it turned on. Another time I asked one of my children to close the door & when they didnt it mysteriously closed on it's own. My cousin lived there for awhile & she listened to opera music. She was showering & when she was done realized the music was off. When she checked the radio the volume had been turned down, no one else was home. Alot of these things happened.

Has anything like this ever happened to you or anyone you know personally? Or do you think I'm nuts (be nice!)

My great grandmother passed away in what is now my house. It was peaceful an expected. She always liked to have the inside doors open. They will not stay closed now because she openes them. We are use to it but guest freak out when a door to a bedroom will not stay closed.
