Pain! My whole body hurts. I mowed the back yard with a push mower, no engine. Then I stacked 2 1/2 cords of wood along the rear fence. Now I am ready for winter. I went through a cord last year until I got really sick for 2 weeks in January. I had to turn on the oil furnace so I didn't freeze to death. Seems my kids don't know how to start or keep a fire going.
Public Television had their fund raiser going this weekend. They were showing "Living in the Wilderness". This guy moves to Alsaka and builds a log cabin from strach. He cut, peeled and notched all the logs by hand. I peeled the logs by hand but I had power saws to cut and notch the logs when I rebuilt my log cabin.
I was wondering if anyone has been to a Super Supper Store or Dream Dinners. I was just wondering what they are like.
Almost reached 90 degrees here today. Way to hot for June especially since yesterday was only 68 outside. Lucy is laying under the fan to keep cool.
