I need to vent!

Why do companies have to change thier policies? I call the doctor's office today to refill my prescription for my medication. Only to find out they changed the procedure. You now have to call the pharmacy first and have them fax the doctor's office for the order. Then the doctor's office faxes back the refill. Will the doctor's office never faxed back the refill. So I don't have my medication for my spastic bowel syndrome. Which means I can't really do anything all weekend.

Just was wondering if anyone has every been in a Super Supper Store. I was wondering what they were like since i don't have any around here. Saw an ad for them in People's magazine. Apparently, you go there instead of the market and you put together meals from already prepare foods. I still think you have to cook the food once you get it home. Which doesn't seem all that great to me. I don't really know because cutting up food for dinner doesn't take me all that long, because I was a chef for 20 years. Do you think it would be a life saver to just come home and throw the prepared food in the oven or on top of the stove? Any input would be greatly appreicated.

Raining and 60 degrees out today. It doesnt feel like June at all here.

WHAT WE CALL THE BEGINNING IS OFTEN THE END. AND TO MAKE AN END IS TO MAKE A BEGINNING. THE END IS WHERE WE START FROM.

You know how when one door closes, another is supposed to open? Well, they don't talk about the hallway. Sometimes the hallway is a daunting task. But shit, you gotta get to the end sooner or later. wink

So I'm a pretty good cook. Never done it professionally, but fattened up a few men. biggrin Sometimes I have time to do it right, sometimes I don't. It would depend on the quality of the prep cook and the expense for choosing that option. If it is cheaper than a restaurant, then sometimes it would make sense ... and I would have my own touches, you know? It just seems like a nice way to have home cooked when you are in a rush. But that's what leftovers are for, too.

You're gonna think this is funny, no doubt, because I'm sure you prepare excellent meals. I have always wanted to publish a Top Ramen cookbook. I can cook some amazing things with Top Ramen. Even dessert. I guess it's kinda like Stone Soup. smile

P.S. I had a friend from New Jersey ... Joe ... a tattooed freak. Probably about your age. Hellion kids. He was a real nice guy. That accent cracks me up! biggrin
