I have yet to deal "properly" with the death of a very dear friend of mine - from high school - back in 2000. Of course this brings it all back. Of course it gets to us. Is there a way to say goodbye though? Farewell? I don't know. If I knew what to say to the first boy I ever kissed then maybe I could figure out how to deal with this?

Anyway, thank you for writing. I hope I've not been too forward with this reply.
