Ross starring in: "Destined to be a Geek"
So i look like a geek, oh well.
The problem with that is... im kinda not.
Dream Sequence:
I had a quite brilliant dream today at around about 4pm.
One of a few dreams as per usual but this is the last one i remember.. all be it very vaguely
Fights were breaking out in the cinema we were in between people i knew, a friend was having a go at me for not trying to intervene and then another fight broke out. I told them they were stupid as they were best friends and would be laughing about it later, as we looked around us the whole cinema was in riot and we were in the process of being thrown out. Stepping through the fire exit the scene infront of us was one of complete chaos in the darkness of night. What i initially thought was just rioting in the cinema was on the streets, the police everywhere and fires in the background.
Me and a few friends were then quickly rushing to get back to home before we got knifed or caught up in the rioting.
As i was running i kept trying to avoid the police, i'm not sure if this was because they were holding back crowds of rioters of because they might of turned towards us ourselves, in the land of dream things are more often than not a blur.
So dodging down some side streets we're startled by a man and a woman running past screaming as the police chased on foot. We alter our route and head for the main roads.
By the time we make it to the river it appears to be day, time seems to slip sometimes in dreamworld, here is a classic example. The trip along the riverside seems to be an excuse to cameo anyone i've seen over the past few weeks of the summer. Moving along the river bank me and the only friend i'm left with start slipping, it seems he's pulling me down towards the path with the rest of them, i dont know why but we're linked together with a clip. I unclip it unattaching us as he walks down lower and i keep the high ground.
I got woken up soon after so who knows what that was all about, speculation seems pointless.
I love the way dreams can feature people from throughout your life, locations of these people matters not, nor does it matter how many years its been since you last saw them. In the dream world, it can all make sense.
The cinema was from Workington, the city we moved out to was Nottingham and then the river was in my home town.
It'd be quite wonderful if the dream world was real somewhere.. some other dimention, you in the role of Quantum Leaps Sam Beckett just jumping into that life for breif moments. Other versions of you carrying out their lives there.
My dreams always seem to play the role of observer, i'm there.. but i'm not really driving events, more watching them, a floating camera, often carrying a character role but an observing character all the same.
So 16 days until i head back to Nottingham.
I wonder how eventful this next year will be, i'll soon find out.

I listened to the new Death Cab album today, i'm not sure if it needs more listens or if i'm just not that fussy on it. It just didnt quite do it for me.
Movie of the Day:
Around the world in 80 days.
Now the start is pretty poor, and it isnt the best film i've seen recently but i cant help but just love any film with Jackie Chan in.. the man is a testament to hard work and what can be achieved.
I was in work today from 10am til 2pm.. what a poor excuse for a shift. compare that to a normal one of 9am til 5.30pm.
Do you think 18 means adult?
I was saying that i see adult more around 21.. i'm 21 in a few months time, i dont feel like an adult. I dont feel like a kid but adult doesnt fit either.
I say this because a guy i work with is turning 18 in a week and he was really excited about becoming an adult.
I want to do something creative.
