Another Night Out
So having not learned my lesson from the Thursday trip to The Social Bar i went to our house party on friday.
It was the 3 buildings next to each others meet and greet style event orgionised by our landlady.
Thats somewhere around 40 people chatting and getting to know each other.... in theory.
In practice it was everyone generally sticking to the people they knew and talking between themselves. I didnt really care much i felt a little rough still.
So because i didnt fancy alcohol too much, was tired and had work the next day i was drinking home made Sangria.
Which was quite nice by the way, me and Lee made a big bowl full of it. It took me an age to cut up all the fruit for it so the fact that it tasted pretty good in the end was a pleasant suprise.
Saturday night i finished work at 6pm got home put my tea in the oven had a shower then ate ready to go to a gig for 8pm. We couldnt be bothered in the end as it was too much effort instead going out drinking at around 9.30pm.
i randomly ended up staying out til about 3.40am and went to sleep at about 6am.
There was a fly hovering around my room and i kept waking up every half hour or so, i got a wonderous 2hrs sleep and then went to work.
Its been a long day. I've just got home... i want to go to sleep and will very soon.
Tommorrow i have a single lecture then its off to London to watch Sufjan Stevens
I cannot recommend enough how much he is worth a listen. I'm very tempted to do a Sufjan Stevens day/hour on my radio show if people were actually willing to listen. The more people who buy his albums the better.
The topic of his songs and lyrics are quite remarkable really and make for a fantastic listen.
Anyway.. i somehow crawled through the day at work relying on cups of tea and strength of character (yeah right) to make it.
Here's to my reward.. a few hours rest.

So now i've got broadband my internet radioshow is going back up. Its just my playlist on my computer at the moment and every now and again new albums i'm listening to and whatnot.
