Today started off well enough I went to biochem and understood over half of it. I then proceeded to head over to the blood drive to give away some fluids and was pleasantly surpirsed by how busy it was . I didnt even mind waiting I was just so impressed people actually cared enough. So my faith in humanity redeemed I took my little self home (minus a pint) .
Unfortunately this is where my day gets worse. While checking out piercing sites with Rin I stumbled across animal piercings and tatoos. Now I am ok with my father putting ear tags in cattle so he can ID them and not end up with really imbred herds and sick cattle but this site disgusted me. I am all for hacking at ones own body and injecting ink and implants willingly , but to do this to an animal who has no vanity or choice would simply be torture. It makes me sick. I am not even a tree hugging peta activist. I am all for using animals in agriculture as long as they are being treated appropriately but tatooing your dogs belly is NOT appropriate. I am hoping to graduate with my doctor in vetrinary medicine within the next 5-10yrs and I think if anyone came to me with an animal that had been modified in this way I owuld call the SPCA on their demonic fucking ass.
So now I am sad and have lost said faith in humanity and feel supremely ill to my stomach so I am sorry for the rant but this one I just cant let go.

im not moving to red deer till august but im moving in with my friend inez next week, but that is still in town. dont worry, im the same exact person, only happy, full of confidence and as im told slightly smaller,but i havent really noticed it yet
