Alright 1st of all I would like to say it's a shame what's happened to New Orleans, Florida, Mississippi. And all those states that have been affected by the Katrina.
Well my trip was good. My 18 year old brother decided to join me. I had absolutely no problem getting my birth certificate in person. Which is a good thing. I had everything done & turned in by Friday. So I'm all good now. It's a matter of time before I get a letter saying whether I passed or not.
We had a layover in Vegas, on our way to San Diego. Well I didnt get a chance to eat before we left. So when we landed I had about 40 minutes to kill before the plane took off. The guy told me I had about 15 minutes before we started boarding. So my brother & I went for search of food. We ate & before we knew it the plane had about 8 minutes before it was scheduled to take off. So we were running to get to the gate. Everyone was already on the plane & they were waiting for us. Would of sucked had we been left behind. But it was pretty funny though.
When we got to San Diego we had to spend the night. The bus that was heading to Calexico left at 10:45 pm. We got to the bus station at 11:20. The next bus was scheduled til 7:15 am. So we spent the night in this hotel next to the bus station. Oh my god what a fucking shit hole. The front lady was creepy as hell. Then the hallways were creepy too. Reminded me of the shinning. With the old looking hotel & creepy hallways. So we get to our room & there is nothing in there. Except for a tv, phone & maybe an alarm clock. No towels in the bathroom, soap, shampoo or anything. Not to mention that there were roaches in the bathroom.
We were afraid to sleep with the lights off. So we slept with the tv on & we were itching once we layed on top of the bed.
Calexico was beautiful though. Seemed like a small town. But everything around there was nice though. I wouldnt mind going back. I took care of my stuff & my brother went walking around & doing some sight seeing. We had dinner then watched a movie at the theatre. We watched the skeleton key. Which was ok once the action got going. It was slow starting though. But check this out 2 tickets for the movies were only $7. And there was like 6 other people in the theatre. When we got back to San Diego we did some site seeing. For about 3 hours before we had to catch our flight back home.
All in all it was a good trip & wished I had more time to site see though. I will upload some pics probably tomorrow. But I would definitely would go back to California though.
Now I must head to bed. I need to catch up on some serious sleep.
