So how was everyone's 4th?
Mine was uneventful, had to work. I'm not really into fireworks. I mean I like them but they're expensive if you want to get the real good ones. You can easily dish out a couple hundred bucks. I did take some with me to work though. Had some old fire crackers. The little bombs. Anyway I'm not a smoker & still carry a lighter with just in case. But alas when I needed it I didnt have one. So I didnt get a chance to play with the fire crackers.
The weekend was good. Had some relatives visit from Minnesota. Spent part of the weekend here. Did some visiting family & what not.
Worked part of the weekend. Was pretty much uneventful. We did have this crazy bitch. But she was actually pretty funny though. We got called to a nursing home for a possible overdose. We got there & she was tied to the chair. Screaming her ass off & cussing at people. She was also a diabetic. It was pretty obvious she was high. But she wasn't cooperating & we had to put her in restraints. She tried to bite my partner & that was pretty funny. It was like that scene in the exorcist. Thrashing her head around & screaming. Anyway, her sugar was real low even though she was with it. I was debating whether or not to start an iv on her. She did need it but I didnt want to run the risk of getting stuck with the needle. Especially since she was acting insane. So I decided not to & gave her some medicine to bring her sugar up. It was a shot in the arm & works but just takes a little longer. So after arguing a bit & what not. She told me she hated me & denied ever getting high. So I asked her again & asked her to tell me the truth if she got high or not. Then she says: I dont remember. My roommate was smoking crack & I told her to stop. Cause then they're going to think it was me. Then paused for a second & said. Maybe it was me smoking the crack. After a couple minutes she calmed down. Then told me. Hey I like you cause you tell it like it is. And I'm sorry I told you I hated you.
Although she was high as a kite & I dealt with like 3 personalities. In a matter of like 30 minutes. She was actually pretty funny. Other than that it wasnt that exciting of a weekend.
I think I was hit on by a nurse last night. Not sure, I can be so dense about stuff like that it's horrible. We were dropping off this girl with a fractured leg. She had a blanket on cause she was cold. So we were getting ready to move her when I was looking around. To see where I can put the blanket at. I saw her from the corner of my eye & she said: You can put it here (table) I dont bite, I only growl. So I smiled & moved the patient. Then told her that the patient was starting to have some pain again. Gave her the x-rays & paper work. Then she said: Thank you so much you've been very helpful.
I dont know if she did hit on me or not. It's just surprising cause nurses at that hospital can be a bit mean.
I really need to get a new cell phone. One with a camera in it. But I want it to take good pictures. Sharp lookiing pics. Any suggestions?

i loved the way they looked, everyone knew they were gone. i guess that happens when you hit them 420 feet or so
