Oh what the crap, I was almost done with my journal entry & I lost everything. Here's a short version of what I had typed already, well cause I'm sleepy. Just got off of work. Ok so as of this morning I have no partner to work with tonight.

So there ya go, sound interesting please let me know by say 7 pm. Ok I had a pretty good call last night. I'm gonna make it quick. So this 45 year old homeless guy got the crap beat out of him. Pretty fucking good, he had numerous cuts in his mouth & tongue. He wasn't getting enough oxygen to his blood cells & he got put on a breathing machine at the hospital. So we got called to transport him to a better hospital. Since I'm not certified to use a portable breathing machine we had the nurse come with us. We were giving him oxygen through the tube by hand. Anyway on the way to the other hospital this guy was becoming a little combative. Which made it hard to give him oxygen & keep him settled. Anyhow he had this huge head bleed, so much blood that his brain was getting pushed to one side. Short version he had blood coming out of the tube in his mouth. I couldnt get the damn suction to work properly. So he got sedated at the other hospital & both the nurse & I got a new asshole ripped. The tube never came out which is a good thing but still wasn't good enough. Point was there was a lot of blood on our stretcher after all that. The guy probably wont make it, according to the nurse that was with us. Which sucks cause that would be a fucking shitty way to go. Too much suffering ya know. Just wanted to share that with you all & I dont know why, it's sad.

Man, you must be one tough cookie to deal with everything you see on a daily basis. I'd have nightmares and probably crack under all the pressure.
I think it really does take a special person.
My valentines day was excellent, we couldent go out for dinner because I had a course on that night but when I got home there was a delicious home cooked meal waiting for me. He's so sweet!
