I had a good thanksgiving. Thank you all for the wishes.
It was an interesting weekend. I worked Saturday night & a friend of mine invited me to head up to Detroit with him. So since I was off last night I said yes. We left yesterday early afternoon. We went to go watch survivor series for wrestling. It was alright, pretty cool. I'm not into wrestling I was when I was younger. Either way it was pretty cool. So we decided to head back last night.
Well it was raining pretty hard as we were getting near. I was starting to doze off when we started spinning out. Let me tell you it was pretty fucking scary. We did about 2 to 3 turns on the expressway. I was just waiting to either hit the wall or someone slam right into us. Luckily nothing happened. The only damage to the car was a pretty deep scratch across the back bumper. That's it, really. I wasn't driving my friend was. But imagine feeling the car spinning out & opening your eyes to that.
It's crazy how your body kicks into fight or flight mode. I swear that when I die. It's going to happen in a car accident. Dont ask me why. But it's just a feeling. I have managed to get out of some scary accidents before. I have never really gotten hurt before. Except for some bruises & what not. I just hope that if I do go that way. That's it quick & painless. Also that I'm by myself & not with anyone else.
So there ya go. Anyone else had a hell of a weekend?
Oh & on a happier note. A bunch of my friends & I got together for a thanksgiving dinner on wednesday. It went well & the food was delicious. I made some meat lasagne with mushrooms. yes I do know how to cook & I'm damn good at it too.
