The last couple of weeks have been good. We spent some time helping out at the winery, it's always a good day when you can drink on the job and go home with free wine.
One of my friends had family visiting from Canada so we got friends together and did a huge crab feed. It is in season and was on sale and since his family had never been outside of Canada we figured they couldn't miss out on it.
Thanksgiving I didn't do anything. Normally we go to my wifes grandmothers place but the last couple years had been awkaward with a couple other family members getting into it and others just not wanting to be there. We decided that we would just stay home and relax. We put the christmas tree up and didn't do much of anything.
The Friday we had some friends over and cooked a chicken with vegetables and stuff and played GH3 for a lot of the night while drinking. The rest of the weekend was just spent relaxing and watching football.
Last night we played PL Omaha for the first time in our poker league. We have always played NL Holdem in our previous four seasons. This season we are throwing in some re-buys and other games to expand peoples horizons when it comes to poker. It was a pretty exciting night and everyone had a good time. You can't beat poker, beer, cigars and MMA on telivision. I can't wait for PLO 8/b in 4 weeks.
