Last weekend turned out to be quite fun. My wife and I decided to get all dressed up and went out for a nice dinner on Saturday. We went to this place in Oakland called Levende East. The food and the atmosphere were both incredible. I can't wait to go back. It's nice to make a special night just because you can from time to time. Afterwards we met up with a friend at this little bar in Dublin called Y'all come back. We had a couple drinks there and gained some street cred in the community as people in the bar were giving us dollars to play songs on the juke box that we had already played because they enjoyed them but had not heard the songs before. It was kind of funny. Afterwards we headed back to our place for some wine and a cigar and just hung out.

Poker on Sunday went well. I pulled out a win to make some cash and earn some points towards the TOC. Alex said that if we wanted to do the TOC in Vegas, he has connections there and could set us up with a private room and a dealer. I am always looking for an excuse to go to Vegas and that would certainly make the trip more memorable.

Last night we met up with our friends as we were going to ride our bikes. We went around the neighborhood for a bit then hit up Coldstone Creamery for some ice cream to totally defeat the purpose of riding the bikes in the first place. It's still fun though to hang out with friends.

This weekend my wife and I are probably going to go out for dinner on Saturday and then shop for computers. She has two interviews for teaching jobs tomorrow. Hopefully one of those will work out and she will be able to quit working at the shit hole that currently provides her with gainful employment. They treat her like crap, pay her like crap and the company is run like a joke.

The new Matthew Good album came in the mail today. It's pretty good. I always enjoy getting new music.
