Well that didn't take long. All moved in to the new place. It's much bigger than I have been used to the last few years. But with almost no outdoor space that is mine. Almost the opposite of what I am now used to. Back in Hokkaido, my room was about the size of my bathroom here. But we had 900 acres of land. It was pretty easy to find seclusion. I guess I have that here too, just not outside. Then again it's a lot closer to a market or a coffee shop. I guess I'll get used to it.

Also I don't share living space with anyone anymore. That may take some getting used to. I didn't at my last place either but I knew that was only temporary. This feels different. All this space and it is just me and my two cats. Maybe I'll get some roommates. I don't really need them. But sometimes I think I do better when I live with other people. I suppose I should also get some furniture. For now though I am kind of enjoying how spartan everything is. I can do katas in my living room without running in to anything. I kind of like that.

Seems like there is a whole lot of archiving going on. Kind of sad.

I want to go out dancing. It's been a while.

Hokkaido? Wow...that must have been quite the experience, especially on a 900 acre plot.

Some of these unaccepted sets are really well done and deserve a second chance. Finding good ones seems to have become a new hobby for me, haha.

Yeah, suburban Los Angeles to suburban Bratislava was quite an adjustment for me as well. It really doesn't register until you're there, does it? For me it was all the little things. The things you take for granted as being "normal" in your hometown. Not so normal when you leave it. Even shopping turned into an adventure. Truly excellent stuff. smile

I'm fascinated with Japan, as many people are. I have family in Tokyo and have often wanted to visit, but it isn't exactly like hopping on a plane to Vegas, is it? How did you end up in Japan?
