So today I got kitties! Two 8 week olds! The male one is named Chester and the female one is Bonnie. I would like to state for the record that I did not name them, but oddly enough the names suit them. Although every time look at Chester I think of Chester from Fairly Odd Parents who was always my fave character because of his neurotic antics. My roommate and I went to the animal shelter planning on adopting Bonnie, but as soon as I saw Chester I fell in love. However, my original plans were to adopt Bonnie and so that was the route I was planning on taking. While talking to the woman at the front desk (who by the way looked about ready to go to a LARP, complete with leather Scottish style lace up footwear) she asked if we wanted to adopt two kittens instead of only one. I said that it would be nice and all, but I could only afford $70 for the one kitten and didnt have enough for two. The woman looked at me funny and asked us if we didnt know that the kittens were BUY ONE GET ONE FREE! I'm sure you can all imagine he HERM!? reaction complete with head-sideways motions. So we ended up getting both Bonnie and Chester and all is right with the world!
