I finished all my xmas shopping today!
Well, almost... one more...
Though that's not much of a feat... I'm not a big xmas person so it was pretty much limited to immediate family..

Speaking of xmas... I got some awesome gifts in the mail from Ciel. I'm weaering pink and black with skulls toe socks from her as I type. Neeeat .

I ended my contract at work last Friday. I will miss working for an independent software company... oh how I will Hopefully they'll take me back over the summer!

I start my next semester in 2 weeks, which will make me officially in my fourth year. Wow, it's nearly done...
I'm really looking forward to two courses in particular... Artificial Intelligence and Real Time Systems. AI sounds so interesting because it's another type of programming and methodology than I'm used to. It sounds awesome, and plus I'm hoping I'll get to see some applications of the less common languages.. like, say, Prolog, or Lisp. Real time, I'm also excited about because I'd love to study some platforms and techniques other than the standard java program that runs on a pc.

Tonight I went out for coffee with some friends then out for a martini at the best little martini bar I've found in Ottawa. The Collection. Such a beautiful atmosphere... such lovely drinks. Classic dry gin with olives. Oohhh baby. It was a nice relaxing evening, a nice change of pace from last night at Zaphod's which was rather insane. I think every one was just overjoyed to be done exams.
