Today I found: VEGAN EGGNOG. Aie! And by So Nice, my favourite brand of soy milk. I was so tempted to buy it.. but one look at my shopping basket and the thought of another heavy thing to carry home scarred me away. I'll have to make a special trip. =D
Boring night last night - decided to stay in and get some homework done.. which I didn't end up starting until midnight anyway, so I *could* have gone out, at least for a bit. Was hoping to make up for lost time tonight and go somewhere extra fun - so when I was invited to an awesome trashy punk bar, I was all Yay! But I think I'll be passing on that.. my boyfriend's too sick (HE had a good night last night
) and I miss him and stuff..
Man. How I'm going to make up for lost party time over xmas break... on baby.
Craving pumpkin cookies - freakin $7 for cloves, but it will be worth it. Too bad I'm feeling too lazy to make them... this seems to be a pretty lame weekend.

I started reading 'Dead Girls' , a collection of short stories by Nancy Lee last night. I don't know what made me pick it out, but something about the description of the stories caught my attention. Anyway, so far it's deffinatly a book version of a chick flick... I don't get it - devoid of anything BUT emotion/love/heartbreak.. is anyone's life actually like that? Not mine is for sure. So methinks I will put it down and start on 'A Short History of the World' by HG Wells. I'm very interested in history (ancient in particular) and I adore HG Wells.. so who better to learn from?
I planned to get a lot of homework done last night. I have exams comming up, so I'd like to get my assigments out of the way a little early and get started on reviewing. But no, I decided to leave it today in favour of drinking a glass of wine (which later became 2 and a strong vodka&cranberry) and watching Sex TV and various cartoons. I've never drank alone before - there's something strangely empowering about it. Although obviously I'm not going to make it a regular thing. Sex TV was about the sex industry in Portland, which sounds amazing. Lucky bastards!
So, since I avoided it all last night, I better get to work now *sigh* IneedabreakIneedaLONGbreak.
