Another Co-op interview today.

I go to the designated interview room.. wait... wait.. nothin'. The coordinator comes in - the interviewer's sick, so suddenly this is a phone interview. Crap. I hate the phone. But ah well...

OH GAWD I WANT THAT JOB!

It's embedded systems* design, implementation and (mainly) testing. I know nothing about embedded systems - but hey, they knew that. I hope I convinced them I'm trainable. Anyway, it looks like a really interesting job.. I'd be learning all kinds of things I won't be learning in skool.

*Embedded systems: PDAs for example. Or microwaves. Programming for things which are not computers.

On a barely related note, one thing I've noticed is that the only time guys try to 'pick me up' in random places (like the bus stop) is when I either look
a) all conservative and proper, like for a job interview, or
b) absolutly aweful, like on two hours of sleep.
Wierd. When I look my cutest I get nothin'. Fine with me, though, cause under those circumstances it ebbs closer on the creepy side than the flattering side.
