Looking for a co-op job. I applied to a bunch I could do, and one that I am completely unqualified for. What do I know about network security? My resume says: Nothin'! I didn't even bother to fill in the application, I just sent my resume.
And yet, they're the only company who wants an interview so far.
Hey, if they want to hire me clueless and train me from scratch, they're welcome to. 
I didn't end up hanging out with Twwly and Tegan this weekend... too bad.
Friday involved bus problems, Saturday I was busy, and Sunday I was drowning in a pool of algorithm analysis'. Next time!
Oh... and have I mentioned lately how much I love squash? Oh, baby. Baked with sweet potatoes and sprinked with basil, organo, salt, pepper and nutritional yeast. Yum yum. Go make it. That's an order.

re: my girlfriend: I think it's just the first week that the weight gain will be so substantial. Most of it seems to be fluid -- cells rehydrating and whatnot. It should be a little smoother from here.
Good luck with the co-op hunting! I once worked in a genetics lab without even taking a course in genetics. I'm sure you'll be fine at network security.
