I had a super good weekend - much needed time just relaxing with friends after a long and stressful week... things at work that I guestimate will take an hour end up taking me all day. Either I'm really bad at predicting how long things will take, or I deffinatly need to start getting more sleep. Or I'm just naturally a little slow.

...though I don't know if this will be my week to actually sleep enough. Monday and Tuesday are parts one and two to Ottawa's 'Dark Carnival'. Basically it showcases our local 'alternative' talent in the form of artists, musicians, etc... I'm not sure what to expect, but the music promises to be ambient/experimental/industrial type goodness and it's the sort of thing I deffinatly want to support.

Tonight I lounged around the house all afternoon, BBQing and watching About Schmidt. Well, most of it anyway. I normally try to stick out a bad movie in the hopes it'll improve, but I gave up on this one.

I then met up with Twwly for a bit, which was nice - she's a fun and interesting girl, not to mention easy on the eyes. Hopefully we'll get together again pretty soon, busy girls that we are.

Now I go watch the Soppranos - one of the few interesting things I've found on that stupid-box that resides in my living room. G'night, SG-land.
