Yeah...Yeah...I know I haven't done a journal in a few days tongue

I just got back from Charleston...It was a nice change of pace...my son and I met my parents down there and did the tourist thing for a few days. I was finally able to go to the beach! I love the beach! love I'd love to live closer to the shore... frown The 2 hour drive isn't that bad though...
There was this cool little tidal pool near the shore. My son loved playing in there with his little beach toys...there was even a little blue crab in there trying to clamp down on our toes eeek

We had brought some goldfish crackers to snack on and ended up feeding half of them to the sea gulls confused

We also had a chance to visit the SC Aquarium...that was a lot of fun! Not as nice as the aquarium that I grew up going to in Baltimore, but it was decent...Here is a pic of some jellyfish...biggrin

Jellyfish are cool when they are behind glass, but otherwise their stings hurt like HELL!!! mad Don't they say you gotta pee on a jellyfish sting or something like that to elevate the pain??? eeek
Anyways, I'm glad to be home! The parental units leave on Saturday, so I have to continue to play the "good daughter" for a few more days....then I can let my hair down again wink

Sounds like you and the boy had alot of fun at the beach. I warned my daughter about jellyfish before she went to Australia, cause I heard they were really bad down there and I think you are right about the peeing thing or so I have heard.
Kinda sad when you have to hide who you really are and be "the good daughter" when the parents are around huh? I do the same with my parents, especially my mom. there is alot of stuff she doesn't know and I would never hear the end of it if she did.
Nice to have you back sweets! It's nice to have someone comment on my journal enteries every once in awhile. kiss
