Real Life
I was going to get caught up on SG last night but it looks like they were doing some maintenance. I'm under pressure to get everything done before my month-long trip to China. I need to get the new office wired with phones before I go...which is looking more and more unlikely. Plus I have to take care of all the bills and such before I go. Pain in the ass, because alot of things that should normally be ok, like the mail turning to the new address, are not working.
SG Stuff
Anyways, I've made my journal even more compact and I've even cut down my fave SG's list. You know I have always valued people on my Friends List more than those people on my Fave SG list. So when SGs like Ayres and Jennifer
wound up on my Friends List, it became quite evident that they were "head and shoulders" more important than any of the other SGs on my Faves list. So that made things easy to trim it down to 5.
I would like to welcome Ivy as my friend , I have always thought that she is one of the most beautiful and sweet SGs of all. I'm honored, to say the least.
I also look forward to the day when I can put Odette up there as well!
Afflictions
On another note, thank you to everyone for their well wishes when I was not feeling well. I'm almost all better now! I'm pretty sure both problems were aggravated by family and work stress. The comments of my friends online certainly helped aleviate that stress.
Ror's Cultural Thingie O' The Day
Here is another piece of art I own. This one was personally commissioned and it turned out great!
Stan Sakai writes and illustrates his own book, Usagi Yojimbo which has over a dozen completed volumes already. If you love feudal Japan with samurai, ninjas and all that, this book is excellent! This book I have been reading since 1987 so it by far is the longest book I have kept on my list.
