Suicide Girls Burlesque
Welp, got back from the SGB show, I brought three other people (reluctantly) and two left before the real show even started. They were annoyed that there were opening bands when they just wanted to see the show. Personally, I thought it was cool to get more than what I paid for...my one friend stayed and that was cool. For those of you reading my journal since day 1, this is the one friend I been talking about
Anyway, the show itself...the first group had a guy on a laptop and another guy on the guitar singing...half way through their set, this girl came out and sang on one song, and she was just too awesome. The next band was a bunch of youngsters playing 80s metal, the singer sounded kinda like Rob Halford/Brian Johnson. Which is not a bad thing at all Only problem was that no one at the club that night paid to see the two bands and the atmosphere was really bad. I felt bad especially for that second band which was pretty good that they had great energy but the crowd was dead. It reminded me of when Faith No More got booed off the stage when opening for Metallica...
Anyway eventually the SGs came out...Missy was there, she was very cute
The show started with a really energetic (and fairly amazing I might add) hula hoop show. I originally got my ticket to SGB with the longing to see two of my fave SGs, the "ex-presidents" (Nixon and Reagan!). Then a few days before the show, I wanted to also see the "fists of fury" (Stormy and Shera). It was a wet-dream and a half to see all four babes dancing on stage...but I digress. I was blown away by the charm, beauty and talent of Pearl...the lady with the hula hoop! BTW all the girls were breath-taking. The one surprise I had was Nixon and Reagan...I thought for some reason Nixon was several inches taller than all the SG performers, in actuality she is probably in the middle of that pack...I think Reagan turned out to be the tallest! BTW, I was heavily motivated by dirty thoughts to buy some rolls of black electrical tape after seeing Reagan...my pal told me she was the hottest. I couldn't choose...lots of dreams of four SGs tying me up and having their way with me after SGB lol. Another surprise was that Shera was blond (I think). In the end, I was stoked to get to see this show, probably the last time this lineup will be together. I also got to see Katie who sold me two SG T-shirts for $20...total...too good!
Back to your normally scheduled life (or mine, to be more exact). Once again I owe my SG pals thanks for supporting my right to rant on my journal. Unfortunately what I meant was I personally am going to try to be more positive and have a thicker skin. If something really bothers me, I'll still rant. Still it was nice to read my SG pals with their supportive comments I was just feeling bad that like four journals in a row were negative. So for fun, I'm gonna make a new journal section, for a limited time:

I hate it when...
...at a drive-thru window they hand me my change and then immediately try to hand me my drink before I can put the change away.
...that the SG site only allows you to choose 5 SGs...for me, one to ten would be perfect.
...my friend requests sit in the queue for days when the person is still making journal entries, or they are rejected without a reason given.
...that loser who was at the SGB who kept screaming into my ear, who kept wanting to talk to me and my pal even though he didn't have an SG account, and wanted to tell my pal all the meds he was on.
...when you buy a DVD and the beginning has many minutes of commercials and shit that you can't skip or fast forward.
...and I'm sure there will be many more later hehe.
Manga Thread...I'm still planning this..I have to be careful, if I do this wrong and piss off the wrong person, I could get zotted. Not that I'm doing anything bad, I just want to not step on anyone's toes
