I'm back, mentally and emotionally. Will try to catch up to everyone the next 7 days or so.

I've been to Virginia Beach before and was treated like a celebrity when I was there. I still have the beige VB hat they gave me.

Reading about the chopper crash, the 30 servicemen based in VB who died and the problems and distress their families will now have to deal with put my own problems in perspective. I work with ex-military servicemen in my team (they are the best workers, ethic-wise) and really enjoy the honor of working with them. So I just manned up and pulled myself out of the gutter. Ironically, right after I did so, everything seemed to turn around on its own, haha. Maybe this was simply an important life-lesson for me. Also, reading the whole thing made me want to watch Black Hawk Down and do some of the stuff that the Delta Force guys in that movie did, memorably, especially William Fichtner and Eric Bana's character. I had just watched The Hurt Locker too...now I'm looking in my library to see if there's another flick I can put in the DVD player after BHD is done.

Big 4 at NYC is done, planning-wise. Bringing the same crew as B4 in Indio. Speaking of NYC visit, I'll be visiting (trying!) with my friend Patriciana hopefully! If you look in my pics, she's the black-haired girl who is wearing the grey Star Wars sweater/shirt. She's in this month's Inked magazine, check it out! The girl loves old skool arcade games and Magic.

Ok so I wrote the above quick while in a time crunch to get back to work and somehow still cram some food in my mouth in the 10 min leftover...was a fail and I was late to my 3PM meeting by half an hour, lol. Luckily my manager is on vacay and I'm in charge in the meantime.
