I use reusable fair trade cotton bags for my shopping, actually tongue I just use plastic bags occasionally because I have to use something as bin liners and that's kind of recycling. Of course I'd like to have have less rubbish to throw out, but we don't get a recycling box here because we live in student flats, rather than a proper house.

Also, apart from pool bringing people together, it's a good excuse to sit and stare at Martin for a while smile

No problem!

this past weekend i put my boat in the water for the first time since 2001. it actually even started after i got a new battery. i had not put it in because i did not feel like it-my depression kept me from doing most things that required any sort of effort. aside from some mouse issues all is well and it is good to...

i am a poor blogger, ha in both senses of the word. the long holiday weekend here in the U.S. was good. cleared brush and drank beer, a wonderful combination. i love it when the weather gets warmer and more people are out and about, it makes the people watching that much better. skaters, bikers, sunbathers, runners, sitters, workers, they are all outside now. so...

so...it was a fun weekend. went out to dinner with friends and had a great time. i think that was Saturday, things run together a little. but, i ate acorn squash ravioli and actually liked it. i ordered it with no small amount of trepidation. but i was trying to be adventurous and slightly gourmet like. hell, next thing you know i will be eating...

Yes, but men get... um... I'm sure something bad happens to them. I'll get back to you when I think of it tongue

Ahh, well, that'd be nice. But there's the whole "you're polyamorous, I'm not!" thing. Uck. Still at least I always have something to blog about biggrin

Hey, maybe things will work out with Ruth. And it's nice to have a "big brother" to look out for me.

well, i was speechless for a moment. i wish one could still easily embed exotic code here, i have some things i want to share. maybe i am just being retarded today, but my code does not work. waaah!

on a happier note, the end of the week is upon us, my favorite time, especially Friday, even if i have nothing of import to do,...

Hmm, I've never been bitten by a little kid. Kicked, scratched, had their hand down my top yes, but bitten no. Maybe I'm just lucky.
cptpyjama:
I wouldn't remove you, I always talk to you smile I got it down from 77 to 41 so that's not bad, I just hate those people who just add you just to... well why if they don't bother to talk? Maybe just to make themselves look popular. Anyway, I kept all the people I like, and you're still on there smile

i went for a lovely walk in the rain soaked woods this morning. it was great seeing the new plants and wild flowers getting set to bloom. unfortunately, i slipped on a rain soaked log and tore and stretched several ligaments in my left foot. i guess it is better than a sprain, but it sort of sucks gimping around and wincing in pain. gives...

Ouch. Still, what you need to do is sit in a chair with a walking stick, which you will never use for anything except to point while calling "oi, you, get me that! I'm injured!" tongue
cmjfoxfyre:
wow. that's really nifty!! biggrin
yeah, magnolias are one of my fave trees...the traditional southern american ones, but i do appreciate the other breeds, most definitely.
yeah, family would not be family without some sort of drama. thankfully, it has disappated and more or less worked itself out. yay for that.
