i am sure many of you have seen coverage of the I35 W bridge collapse in Minneapolis. i used that bridge regularly, although not in the past few weeks. when there was a lot of traffic it shook, many bridges do, but it seemed like a lot the last time i crossed it.

here is a link to a bridge inspection report, it is interesting reading, but page down to the pictures if you do not want to read it all. it gets absolutely scary. draw your own conclusions. the study was done (one of many) by the Minnesota Dept. of Transportation.
