In my religion we don't celebrate Halloween, instead we have the Great Samhain holiday. It is the same as All Saints' Day, only for pagans. And we have it for a whole week. This week is very meaningful to me, because it's the week I was born. I turned 29 on 27 October. I am proud to have my birthday in the week of All Saints, maybe it makes me a little closer to my holy Gods.

Samhain is a time to prepare for a long sleep, a time we have to finish gathering supplies for the winter and lock the doors so no uninvited spirits can come in for the hibernation. Only loved ones, only warmth and love!
