We're celebrating my girl echo's birthday a week from wednesday. I thought I'd get her something special and since I have a few really cool surprise gifts - more on these later - I thought I'd let her pick this one out herself.

Saturday was errand day, even before getting out of bed we had 24 things we wanted to do - now, how many we actually did is another story and a few new ones popped up as we sallied forth on our planned errands.

Stop #1 - breakfast at wafflehouse - and I said what about breakfast at wafflehouse.

Stop#2 – the buffalo exchange – great used clothes store. Oddly enough ended up leaving with 2 black t-shirts, funny how it works that way. On the back of one is “tattoo your body, tattoo your soul.” I’m still looking for the “Tattoos hurt, that’s why I do it” t-shirt.

Stop #3 – Missed the turn for the mall so we made an unscheduled stop at the half price bookstore. Picked up a hard cover Damnation Game by Clive Barker. I’m a big fan. Also snagged a book by Greg Kihn –0 yeah of the greg kihn band. I’ve read two of his other horror books – he’s an excellent writer. Highly recommend. Banshee or not, I’m in love with the redhead with pale white skin.

Stop #4 – A planned stop. Stopped at the mall to shop for echo. She did a little bit of clothes shopping first. I figured I get her a rolex so I surprised her by stopping doing a little rolex shopping. We decided on this year’s model which has a much nicer looking band than the old one. The diamond dial was tempting, but we didn’t feel it was nice enough to justify the extra $1,700 more than the standard $5,500 model – what can I say, we got a really sweet deal. So now poor echo has to wait 9 days or so for her rolex. Grabbed a nice linen shirt from the buckle on the way out. The guy had the nerve to tell me you don’t wear linen tucked in when I came out for echo to check it out. Doesn’t he realize you can wear anything you want however you want if you wear it with confidence? It has pearloid buttons and a yoke so I’m planning to wear it with my black cowboy hat – now that would’ve really freaked him out. Oh well, some follow, some lead.

Stop #5 – Lunch. Shopping took much longer than we expected and there was a wait at the Chinese place in the mall so we hoped in the cadillac and sped away. Ate at Einstein’s.

Stop #6 – Local porn shop to pick up a spanking video. Turned out to be a nice blend of English humor kink. Got a few fun ideas, which we tried immediately. More later.

Stop #7 - By this time we forgot what the other stops were and we had a porn movie to watch anyway, so stop #7 – home.

In all, quite a productive day.
