Bored..
I'm endlessly bored, yet, I'm working non-stop. Gotta love how that works.
Working is highly overrated, after about 4 months of working over my shift, usually by 3-4 hours is getting draining.
On the upside, I get 2 weeks away for the holidays, and now being 21 I do believe its time to let loose.
Amazon has decidedly become the most dangerous site on the internet for me. After moving out, and losing my entire book collection its nice to start collecting again.

So, my next major purchase (after some new computer equipment, of course...), either tables or drums. Tough decision.

Book of the week: Defying Gravity: The making of Newton
I've always personally been a little offended with Steve Jobs killing the newton project, after apple spent millions and years developing what was, and in some respects still is the best PDA ever developed. Reading the book gives you a slight insight into the difference in how Jobs views mac users vs. How John Sculley (Former CEO of apple, also former CEO of pepsi cola) saw Apple (and not simply the Macintosh).
Brings back memories of how the Mac community was before OS X, when Mac users were limited more to an exclusive club. A time where you displayed car stickers to show your apple pride, and a time where when you saw them on someone elses car, you smiled.

While OS X is a HUGE improvement over OS 9 (and windows, obviously) it did remove some of the utmost simplicity the Mac provided.
Still, for simplicity, apple traded market share.

Have you noticed how many people on Suicide Girls use a mac?
Punk girls aren't just hotter, aparently they are smarter too.

Enough geekyness for now, back to work
