Well London was a success. There was a power cut in the street where my course was being held on Tuesday, It hadn't come back up when I went in on Wednesday, so the rest of the course had to be canceled. However because the hotel had already been paid for that night I could stay in London till Thursday morning. So not only did I end up coming home early. But it gave me the opportunity to go and visit the house from Spaced. I spoke to the woman who lived there and she was very nice. She mentioned all the little things that they did while filming. They cut the tree in the front garden down. Used her front room as a squat. Made fake door bells. Covered up the window behind the front door. broke her gate. as well as being descended upon by 78 actors and crew, filming day and night. I felt really sorry for her as it sounded like hell, not only that but now she gets 100's of people turn up every day to visit the famous house. She thanked me for asking for permission to take photos of the place as many people stand around outside don't even bother.
I made a little video of the viist...
After the visit to 'Meteor Street' I met Tara (a livejournal friend) at Mile End tube station before heading to a pub for drinks. She was an absolute life saver. If it wasn't for her i would have died a death of boredom locked away in the hotel room all Tuesday. Such a great person. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future.

As the power didn't return on the Wednesday I spent most of the day with Pollen's friend Gemma. We visit a great place called The Porter House and drank lots of strange beer, We then met up with my friend Miffy at another pub called Chandos and had something to eat. After food we then said goodbye to Gemma, then Miffy and I went on the London Eye...

oooooh!
not only that but we saw the mystery machine, but we couldn't find Scooby Doo, or any of the rest of the gang. It was just there on it's own...

that was a mystery?!
Miffy and I then met up with Tom and Vanessa and had a few drinks, then it was back to the hotel for my last night in London. So in the end I was only in London for 3 whole days, but they were a great 3 days.

Yay! I haven't really seen much of London, so would have to behave like a total noob when I got there, of course
