It doesn't matter how much shit you're going through in your life.
Eventually you will be able to look to the Heavens and say, sagely; "Yeah, I see what you did there."

A friend who is having her considerable strength tested to the limit helped me remember that.
And I intend to help her remember it also, come what may.

Well, the third strike has struck.
I got a parking fine in Dah's car today while waiting to pick her up from work.

She says she'll pay it as I was there for her, but I still want her to transfer it into my name (it was issued under her registration) so it can be added to the ever-growing list of fines I have...

There's some sort of football event happening in the park not far from my house.
All I've been hearing this afternoon is monosyllabic shouts, referee's whistles, cheers, boos, and team chants.

I'm sitting here trying to write and I'm being tormented by visions of taking an Armalite AR-10 Carbine-gas semi-automatic down there and changing the rules of the game!

I finished the first draft of my extended writing project today.
That's 6000 words of verbal constipation over and done with, until it comes time to rewrite it all.

It's the single longest piece I've ever written and I'll be first to admit that it is also some of the worst writing I've ever put my pseudonym on. Although it does end on a high...

You got there... but the worst ever...?! Surely not.

Looking forward to getting a peep

malana:
Well done. I'm proud of you. I'm 1200 words off a 6000 word project myself. You're inspired me to keep going... I was procrastinating, but nay, I can do no more.

I shall write!

Hamster goes down again!.
Luckily he wasn't hurt this time.

I got a fucking speeding ticket today.

It's my first encounter with the police, for anything, in nearly four years (I've been a good boy...good at not getting caught!).

I was doing 76 in 60 zone and the cop that got me was a lone bike officer standing on the side of the road with his radar. He had to run out onto the bitumen...

Bad things DO come in threes, do they not? Good work doing the right thing btw. smile

dah:
You better be a good boy or I might just take the car off you.

I will have to wait a while since you drove me to the airport and picked me up. kiss

As Lexiphanic said "bad things always happen in threes" eeek

There are few things in life as frighteningly surreal as watching a fully armed attack-helicopter make it's menacing way across the skies above your uni campus on a rainy Thursday afternoon.

Sharing a nearly deserted bus with an abnormally large man with a haircut that looks like he gave it to himself during a particularly bad acid trip, who is wearing a weathered army surplus...

No. Just unable to sleep since the nightmare drama.

Which is also not helped by the fact I broke into my own house this morning. Took my all of 10 seconds to barge the door with my shoulder.

On the upside, I've been cooking so much stuff. Not for me of course... For Andy. He's all set for three weeks worth of dinners and biscuits and stuff.
It almost feels like I'm packing him off for school camp or a sleepover.

Only, he isn't coming home. I don't think it has really sunk in yet.

Love back.

s_eldorado:
Damn, that is seriously disturbing.
