So I figured it was time to get rid of the previous 'whiny little bitch' post... Time to write about the good shit happening now.

The SGAU Ball is on at the end of the month. WOOT! I'm so happy it's back in Bris-Vegas again, so soon after the last time. Lucky us! Anyone who's thinking of skipping it, always remember 'what happens in Vegas...

I'm writing this on campus (yes, that's relevant).

I just handed an assignment in a day early. And not because I'm a conscientious student. But because I just couldn't be arsed putting another single joule of energy into it.

I couldn't even be bothered keeping it overnight to proofread properly. It was patched together from a bunch of tiny efforts (all done for other things...

Just wanted to share what is possibly the best paragraph I've ever seen committed to print:

...Weren't we all crazy in our sleep? What was sleep, after all, but the process by which we dumped our insanity into a dark subconscious pit and came out the other side ready to eat cereal instead of the neighbours children?

It's from Jeff Lindsay's Darkly Dreaming Dexter..the...

its not that your too young its just that your life is half over and your going to die young, and thats probably whats causing the crises, I know how you feel....

So I'm watching the first SG Tour DVD for the first time in ages.

I put it on to have something playing while I did something else and I wasn't intending to pay it much mind. But it had me pretty engrossed within a few seconds.

Strangely though, it also got me feeling nostalgic. Which is something I never thought I'd feel about anything SG....

On a more serious note, the thoughts you have buzzing in and around your head are all a part of life, and in part, growing up.

You'll make the right call for you. I believe it.

I made out with some chick tonight.

She's a friend of a friend and I honestly don't remember her name, even now, only a few hours after we parted ways.

Obviously this is not the first random hook-up I've ever had, but I think it might be the first time I've totally forgotten her name.

I do remember getting dizzy when we kissed. But maybe...

I've been thinking about inconveniencing you all with a long-winded whine about my indecision regarding singeldom and asking a particularly nice girl out.

But you caught a break. I decided instead to give you a link to some fresh Aussie flesh.

Go give Countessa some SG love.
