OK...it's been a wild few hours.
I went to after-class drinks at the campus bar this afternoon (where I drank), forgetting that the undead burlesque was on tonight. After a few text messages to and from Tez and a few km's of legging it, I found my way to Calypso to watch said burlesque (where I drank some more). I had a chance to meet some new SG faces, before I was whisked off to Quest apartments (where I drank even more). Now, at quarter to one in the a.m., I'm finally home, still in my Uni clothes, still carrying my Uni books, having imbibed alcohol at three different locations across town.
And all because I hoped Lisa would join us for a drink after class this afternoon...

Icarus is perhaps a slightly ill-omened name for a bird, but I chose it for a few reasons. He's a sun conure, so I was looking for a name from a sun-related myth. Then, Icarus was the foolish one, and this bird is very foolish.
Also, the myth of Icarus was made into an Iron Maiden song, which is the thing that decided me. *nods happily*
