So I haven’t written here in a while because lately I’ve just been feeling really tired. I’ve been here in Korea too long for it to be considered jet lag or time zone change. I think part of it is just being a little depressed from homesickness and partying a little more then usual! The latter part of that is taking care of itself since I have been feeling a little under weather lately and the texting, skyping, and facebooking I’ve been doing with family and friends has alleviated the former.
So I also have a few pics and vids to post up later of a Taekwondo/concert that I attended on campus last week. Some really cool boardbreaking and a performances by a hip hop group and female k-pop group Stella!! which all was probably made better by the awesome people I was around.
Also sometime later, an update on my classes and some other activities I will be doing; Korean Ceramic Arts and a visit to one of the biggest mountains in Daegu! Also later this month I plan on attending an local open-mic event hosted by some international locals and (POSSIBLY) perform some thing like a freestyle spoken piece!
Also, the Cherry Blossom trees are blossoming and I’m hoping (fingers crossed) to attend a festival in Jin He but if not I have a few cool pics from campus!
There is also an Open House schedule where students can visit all the other dorms and possibly sell some food for profit!
One more thing before I climb my bunk bed to watch Frozen before going to bed.. We have an Olympics scheduled where we compete in teams against each other for a free meal….. There is a 3-legged race, two person ballon chest carry, a team splits contest, and a dance competition where I will make sure no video will exist.
