last Thursday Aug 21 I went to jury duty!! had to be there at 8:30am sat around till 11:40am got called with my group to go to the courtroom. the judge talked to us for 5 minutes and told us to go to lunch for an HOUR AND A HALF. ok go back after lunch; the judge talks to us for 30 minutes and tells us to go downstairs and fill out a questionnaire. I fill out questionnaire and turn it in. then im told to come back on Tuesday Aug 26.
so today is Tuesday Aug 26 I go back to the courthouse at 9:00am like they told me. they didn't start till 9:35am. sat in room listened to people get picked and the judge asks them questions and the lawyers say hi. the judge says that she has business to discuss with the lawyers and sends us to lunch and come back at 1:30pm!! its only 11:30am, now we have a TWO HOUR lunch WTF!!! so go back at 1:3opm listen to the lawyers ask questions and dismiss jurors form 1:40pm to 4:30pm. the lawyers now have 10 jurors they like, so the judge calls up 7 more jurors to interview and then says its time to go home. so now I have to go back tomorrow at 9:30am.
FUCKING HELL i've now lost two days of work and no pay. fuck!! The California court system sucks big fat donkey balls!!!!!

But I do have some good news last Friday Aug 22 was my 37th birthday and I had a great day and weekend!!!! two thumbs up for me!!!
