I've begun construction on two geodesic domes for my camp at Burning Man. I've been interested in building one for several years now, and was finally able to follow through on my wishes. I probably should get too excited just yet because I've not completed the construction; I do however feel that I've followed all the instructions correctly and precise, but who am I kidding this is a complicated design and I've got zero experience doing something like this. Here's what I've done so far. I cut 60 ten foot pieces of metal conduit into three different sections of length; 50 of one size, 40 of another and 30 of the finale length makes a lot of fucking cuts!



Then I took each pipe and crushed the ends with a vice! This was very hard work, and took a lot of strength to turn those handles for a total of 240 crushes!!!



The work was hard and tiresome, so tiresome that I actually broke this huge fucking vice with only the final 14 pieces of pipe left.... That's where my new 6 ton hydraulic press is gonna rock my dick wet!!!
I bust out the new crusher tomorrow, but for now I drink some beer and rejoice in my hard work!!!
