2004 will mark What I believe to be a return to the norm for this wandering masterless samurai . . . it's been over a year since I broke up with my last girlfriend and since then I have had nothing even close to a nibble in the big open sea of singles . . . so I am convinced that perhaps I was not meant to find love and that I may never have sex again . . . which is unfortunate . . . all told I understand I was pretty good at it and think that it is a mighty shame I may be relegated to pocket jockeying from here until the sky falls down . . .

so here comes a couple of questions . . .

1. Is it really better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all?

2. is it really just that women are not looking for decently nice guys who will treat them well and shower them with affection and really are more interested in guys who treat them like shit and wouldn't know chivalry if it's plate gauntlet slapped them in the face?

3. know any single women in the midwest who would either pity me enough to go on a date or be interested enough ot go on a date or perhaps just pity my enough to remind me what sex actually felt like?
