Classes start up again today here at wonderful Ohio State. Last quarter began to drag a little when both of my philosophy classes turned into metaphysical nightmares. I'm more into ethics & morality than any of that so i began to sleepwalk a little. I know i passed them both, but in the end enjoyed neither. Plus that room in thompson hall was hell with their stupid wooden chairs and paint-smelling hallways.
This quarter should be decent. My 'judicial ethics' course should be a really fun one. I took Philo 130 back in the fall and loved it. Lots of freshmen in there, though. I'm a junior so hopefully there will be some, well, not-freshmen in this class so that when i start to really get into the course and start asking a lot of questions(a la 130), someone in there will know where i'm coming from and be able to counter/support intelligently. If that person happens to be a 'she' I may just have to ask her to, um, 'clarify her position' so to speak.
Anyways for now i'm just gonna hope that the books for these classes aren't too expensive but knowing now that barnes & noble secretly own both long's and sbx, i'm not too hopeful.
One last note: I heard last quarter that osu is going to begin renovating the north oval. That sucks! It's spring i've been looking forward to going there and getting to read something fierce. Apparently they won't be done til winter which means i have to wait another year before I get to. It makes sense to wait til winter is over to get done by the next but I mean c'mon, does it really need renovated at all or is there something i'm missing.
My second class btw is ancient philosophy(301 or 303 or something) If you have either of those classes feel free to let me know. For now i'm off to the boards to see if any good threads have been started. Probobly gonna start a book thread of some sort so look for it.
Be At Peace
Dan

I'm glad you approve of my nature entry.
What is the park of roses? It sounds really swanky...
