I haven't changed a light bulb for over 5 years, because like most British people I've gone over to long-life flourescent ones. From the recent debate on this web site it's clear that, like many ecological measures, this is still far from the norm in the States, where many people still use power-hungry incandescent lights. It's really weird how far Americans are behind other developed...

I always sneer at reality TV, but lately I find I've been watching it (while pretending not to). I've been watching the X Factor - a talent contest for singers here in Britain. (I watch purely for research purposes of course.)

Although I don't usually like singers like Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, I've been blown away by Leona Lewis, a 21 year old Black...

I'm writing a novel about junky life, but I know it will never get published - however good it is - because of recent changes in the publishing business. Apparently the sales and marketing directors now make the decisions, not the editors, and they won't agree to anything that doesn't look as though it will fly off the shelves in WH Smiths and Tescos (a...

I'm a sucker for a certain kind of charm. When SGs acknowledge their comments it always blows me away. When someone like Scout says 'thank you for understanding me' I just melt. She is so charming. You feel yourself getting ready to move heaven and earth for her! I guess it's down to ego - you puff yourself up and say 'Think nothing of it...

I guess different people find different things sexy. The charm of SG for me is that everyone should be able to find something sexy about at least some of the sets that go up. What is sexy to one person might not be to another and vice versa. It's the variety that sucked me in years ago, and one of the reasons why I continue to try to add to the variety.

I like this blog entry smile
ron:
Thanks Cherry.

I suppose you're right - different people find different things sexy. But some models seem to have tremendous screen presence and their sets are captivating - or is it down to the photographer's skill - since you both model and film, you would know?

I've only just discovered how to search by photographer, so that I can compare people's work. Photographers are not all equal. You have a fantastic vision, as I said in an earlier blog. - I'm not just arse licking. - Your last shoot with India was simply brilliant.

What distinguishes super-star SGs from others, some of whom might be considered more conventionally good looking? It's not anything crass like body measurements - the kind of thing that qualifies girls for Page Three. Women who strip off for the Murdoch press usually look as boring as hell. On the other hand, women can have big tits, small tits, thin legs, big bums - whatever...

Doesn't it feel great when SGs respond to comments? I feel like a star-struck kid now! Three of the hottest SGs on one page - Scout, Cinder and Dorsal - each one of them totally different and unique. I'm going to revisit each of their sets again.

love

Had to come back in the end because there is no other site in the world with women like this - unique, powerful, creative and wild. They are the first wave of a big revolution ... there are so many really wonderful women here.
astra:
Hi thankyou for your lovely comment, im very flattered. You look familiar ????
ron:
Hi Astra - I'm so impressed you reply to comments! - But no need to feel flattered. Everyone is just blown away by your set - nine pages of comments already! Must be good to know what people think of you. I can imagine it might feel a bit tense waiting for your set to go up and not being sure what kind of reception it will get? Then you wake up and you're one of the stars. You've just got that kind of magnetism that means you take great pictures/have a great screen presence, and everyone sits up and takes notice of you. It's even there in your holiday snaps. Sexual Goddess is about it!

You look familiar too, but I can't think where it could be!

Hope you do another set soon - one with red hair?

Can't be doing with all this pro-war shit on this site. Don't expect SGers to be brain-dead. Still, looks like I'm ot of step with everyone else, so time to go.

Nic is right about the positives of the site. Most of the SGs are radical and the English contingent are great.

When I was a kid, cool was the antithesis of enthusiasm. Mezz Mezzrow used the term cool in Really the Blues, describing these guys who are getting stoned in a basement while the house burns down around them. Cool people didn't get excited, even if they were on speed. They wouldn't run around shouting 'fire'. To get belligerent or rowdy was definately uncool. Getting drunk...

One of the first casualties of war is the truth, and that has certainly been the case in Britain. A number of government ministers have appeared on TV peddling falsehoods. And although they are all known as professional liars - who would buy a used car from the likes of Peter Mandleson, Alan Milburn, John Prescott, or John Reed? - come to think of it...

I'm getting a new kind of spam. Along with all the rape and incest sites, I'm getting an invitation to buy pumps or drugs to increase the size of my dick. Weird. Why do they think I'd want to do that? I guess they know that a secret anxiety about penis size is fairly common in our culture, so they're onto a winner. 'O God...

Sounds like much more freedom than people associate with the sex industry, though i guess some would argue that SM isn't part of the sex industry? Also a bit less risky, paradoxically. I mean I know you wrote about a woman who got raped while she was under restraint, but it didn't sound an everyday occurence, whereas rape and murder are a daily occurence for women who have to work on the streets. Some research shows that on average street prostitutes have had at least one serious assault. Maybe a lot of guys see it as an opportunity to act out their misogyny. Sick fuckers.

I'd make a joke about leaving a tip, but it would come off all wrong.
