Do you have a friend that you hang out with more than anybody? Your BEST friend? Do people mistake you for being married? Do her friends tell you that you both are like "the cutest old married couple". Does your family continually ask you when you guys are going to FINALLY hook up? Do people tell you that you guys are meant to be together, that it's "fate"? Do you finally decide to get over the fact that she has a kid (keep in mind that you were really hurt and confused when she got married and had a kid, it was a really hard year, thank god she left him the fucker) and show her how much you truly do love her and are in love with her. And you let her know how much you love her, this time sober, with a wonderful gift that you leave on her patio balcony and all you get is a phonecall and a "Roman, that gift was TOO Much" (it was only a trinket) "No more gifts like that ok?" And it's all you can do to stifle the choking feeling in your throat and you're riding home and you're so upset that you're head's not in it and you almost get taken out by a moving van because you just can't think straight. Yet she still wants you around... and you just keep loving her but know that it'll never be more than a friendship...
