I am overwhelmed by a few donations I have received from several of my good friends here for Lachrymae's tumor removal surgery! I appreciate every bit! I called the Animal Hospital that I had Furiae's tumors removed by and their main exotics vet who did the previous surgeries is off today and they aren't sure of her schedule for a surgery so I will call back tomorrow when she is in and schedule the removal for Lachrymae. I was going to have a paid photoshoot today but the photographer canceled but he still paid me through Venmo so that helps a lot too! I get paid at midnight tonight so I will check my finances but I think with the donations I have received and the money from the shoot I should be able to pay for this surgery and still have my other bills taken care of even with my hours at work being reduced. Now that that is resolved I still have the surgery and recovery process that is always difficult. Rats are so small these surgeries can be difficult for them and they don't always survive, I am going to remain hopeful because Furiae came out fine after 2 surgeries a month apart and is still going strong, so I just hope Lachrymae is as healthy as her and doesn't have any underlying problems. All surgeries for anyone are risky but of course much moreso for such small animals. The tumor seems to be just under the skin and hopefully not deeply attached to any important tissues so it may be an easy removal like Furiae's were. Well long story short, just basically thank you guys so much for caring and being friends and being supportive whether through thoughts, well wishes or donations. It touches me that people care about me and my babies. 😊 THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
