Just 20 years ago, we, Japanese lost one great actor, Yusaku Matsuda . Probably some of you know or see him, because he got a part of gangster in the movie Black Rain with Michael Douglas or Andy Garcia. He did many movies and TV dramas, and I love all of his works. Lately, many TV channels broadcast his movies and dramas a lot everyday.
One of my favorite his movies, its theme song is awesome, and when I watched this movie yesterday, I cried when I was listening to this song.
Its lyric is based from the poem which the poetry wrote in about 1920, and the movie director translated it to English.

When I was 9 or 10, I could not understand how this means, I mean, I could understood what it said, but I couldn't know a sadness or a heartrending sorrow in this poem. You also will understand this sadness when thinking by replacing "Hat" with yourself and your mom.
This version is also so nice, and I love it.
